  2. Historia Radiohead es una bandainglesa de rock alternativo originaria de Abingdon, formada en 1985. La banda está compuesta porThom Yorke(voz, guitarras, piano), Jonny Greenwood(guitarras, teclados, otros instrumentos), Ed O'Brien (guitarras, segunda voz), Colin Greenwood (bajo, sintetizadores), Phil Selway (batería, percusión). Radiohead se formó a mediados de la década de 1980, en la escuela Abingdon (un colegio privado para varones) en Abingdon, Oxfordshire en Inglaterra.

Entre las primeras influencias de los miembros de Radiohead se encuentran Queen y Elvis Costello; bandas post-punk como Joy Division y Magazine; y sobretodo grupos de rock alternativo de la década de 1980 como R.E.M, Pixies, The Smiths y Sonic Youth.
