Overview of the JISC Distributed e-Learning Programme and Its Impact on Education

The JISC Distributed e-Learning Programme (DeL) launched in January 2005, involving 24 Subject Centres with an average funding of £40,000 each, concluded in March 2006. Following this, DeL II commenced in April 2006, focusing on the sharing, reuse, and repurposing of educational content, alongside the JISC Digitisation Programme, e-portfolios, and the integration of existing e-tools. The initiative aimed to enhance digital learning resources and promote innovative teaching practices across educational institutions. For further information, visit the JISC website.
