  2. Solar Keymark – How to get a license? J.E. Nielsen, SolarKey Int. • Check internally your products with the requirements in EN12975 and/or EN12976 • You need a quality management system. An ISO 9001 certification fulfils requirements – but less can do, – check requirements with the certification body you intend to use • Choose test lab • Choose certification body • Fill out application form • Beware that not all certification bodies have agreements with • all test labs – but normally such an agreement can be • established quite fast Solar • Inspector will sample product(s) for testing – samples shall be taken from normal production line or stock (special production of test samples not allowed !) • Inspector will inspect quality management system • Test lab will conduct tests II If everything is OK, the certification body grants you the right to use the Keymark on your products Solar Keymark Workshop, Freiburg, June 2006

Maintaining the license is simple ! • Be ready for annual inspection of quality management system • Be ready for biannual ”surveillance test”. This surveillance test is in fact a detailed inspection of the product: Is the product produced still the same as the product tested? • Pay your annual fees !
