  2. Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground. Genesis 3:17-19

  3. The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. Genesis 2:15

  4. the work of God is belief “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work God requires is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” John 6:28-29
