  1. Renumbering your Survey Renumbering stations in OMNI 3D is fairly easy and customizable. You will still have to figure out how to number the stations for special systems, but once you know the pattern, OMNI 3D can apply it automatically. OW-0605EN Left-click when you see this

  2. Renumbering Stations OMNI 3D has a tool that will renumber your stations. You can find it in several different places and may be a bit different from place to place. Click on the survey name and drag into the Edit View. Press the 123 button. 2

  3. Renumber Wizard & Dialogs To select a station to renumber, press Shts, Recs or Both. Click on Select Individual Stations. Click on the station in the Edit View. To select a whole line to renumber, press Shts, Recs or Both. Click on Select Whole Lines. Click on the line in the Edit View. To select a group of stations, press Shts, Recs or Both. Click on Select a Group of Stations. Click a shape around the stations in the Edit View. Double-click at the end. Or Select All to select all the stations in your survey. Press Apply. 3

  4. Renumber Dialogs First Num is the number of the first line or first station. This can not be a number that is already used in the rest of the survey. Increment is the number you want the lines or station numbering to increase by. Example: Stations with Increment of 1 = (1, 2, 3, ...) Stations with Increment of 2 = (1, 3, 5, ...) You can increment by different values by creating a list of increments. Example: Stations with Increment of (1, 2, 3) = (10,11, 13, 16, 17, 19, 22, 23, ...) 4

  5. Renumber Dialogs Continued To make sure my Line Numbering didn’t change, I should have selected Do Not Change. Before After Station Numbering can also have a list of first numbers and is applied to each sequential line. 5
