  2. 俗名：亞洲錦蛙 • 學名：Kaloula pulchra • 分類：狹口蛙科 • 外型特徵 ：外表肥胖，吻極短，後肢粗壯有力，指（趾）端方形平切狀且膨大成吸盤。背側顏色對比明 顯，背部中央及四肢背面為黑褐色，背部外緣及頭部側邊為黃色。皮膚光滑，但表面有顆粒狀突起，具有黏液。

  3. 亞洲錦蛙 • 入侵時間：臺灣日治時期1932年 • 入侵的原因：1998年間在高雄鳳山地區所發現的物種 • 原生地：原產於尼泊爾及印度東北部 • 台灣分布區域：最早在 1998年在高雄市的林園 、鳳山水庫一帶發現，台南縣、龍崎鄉，高雄縣林園鄉，屏東縣內埔鄉、萬巒鄉，高雄縣

  4. 亞洲錦蛙 • 危害嚴重性: • 雌蛙具有驚人的生殖潛力，體內的卵可多達2萬粒，而蝌蚪期僅需約2-3星期即可變態成小蛙，且在台灣目前缺少捕食者的抑制 ，因此，目前亞洲錦蛙的族群有持續擴張的趨勢，是否對其他物種造成衝擊，需要持續觀察。
