  2. The Amazon Rainforest The Amazon Rainforest is in parts of Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the three Guyanas. The Amazon Rainforest gets a lot of rain and the land is poor in nutrients. Only the first 2 cm of soil is rich in nutrients, some of the reasons are that only 2 % of sunlight filters. It is wet and humid.

  3. Importance The Amazon Rainforest is very important because is the largest tropical rainforest in the world and the greatest natural resource of the world. It produce 20% of earth oxygen. In the Amazon rainforest has the Amazon river which is the second longest river in the world.

  4. Toco Toucans • This type of toucans eat small fruits , bird eggs, seeds, and insects. • The average measure is 60 cm long.

  5. Adaptions of the Toucan • Toucans live in the top of huge trees called canopy
