Join the M.A.S.H. (Mosquito Abatement for Safety & Health) Volunteer Program! This guide outlines how to perform daily landing rate counts and collect rain gauge data to monitor mosquito activity in your area. Stand still for one minute while counting mosquitoes that land on your legs, and be sure to check the back of your legs too. Record even no activity and rainfall. Collaborate with your department co-worker to establish the best sites for counting and reporting your findings via email or phone. Every report helps enhance community health and safety!
