  3. Writing an acrostic poem • 1. Select a non-fiction animal card. Your animal’s name MUST BE AT LEAST 6 LETTERS LONG. • 2. Read the card and take a sheet of paper and write down 10 facts about the animal. • 3. Now write the name of the animal vertically. • 4. Create an acrostic poem about the animal, including as many facts as possible.
