USM Center for Integrated and Applied Environmental Toxicology • Ability to investigate Maine’s health problems with a multidisciplinary approach from ‘test tubes to populations. • Increasing the impact that Maine researchers have on regional and national health concerns. • Dramatic increases in biomedical funding in state. • More educated and better trained Maine workforce through continuing education, undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral training opportunities.
