Hyperball2 Preparations and Analyzer Configuration Overview

This document outlines the preparatory steps and successful configurations for a Hyperball2 system using FERA and a double buffer analyzer. Initial tests confirm that all ADC, TDC, and QDC channels are functioning properly, with detailed checks revealing a dead time of approximately 20 ms for single hits. The integration of Ge mounting and cabling is verified, ensuring all connections are secure. ADC and TDC correlation modules are operational with histograms accessible for monitoring. Notably, one channel exhibits a large offset of around 50 ns, requiring further inspection.

  4. Analyzer • Just only for monitoring • All ADC, TDC, QDC histograms • ADC and TDC correlation

  5. Module check • 11 ADCs (44 ch) are OK. • 3 QDCs (48 ch) are OK. • 4 TDCs (TDC1 24 ch, TDC2 12ch, TDC3 32ch, TDC4 16 ch) are OK. • One channel has large offset: ~50 ns
