Dark knowledge in Qualitative Reasoning: A call to Arms

This paper discusses the alarming issue of CO2 accumulation in the atmosphere, which currently exceeds the rate of its natural removal. It argues that merely stopping the growth of emissions will not halt this accumulation and emphasizes the need for immediate action. The study cites research by Steerman (2009), illustrating that a significant majority of participants (84%) draw response curves to CO2, indicating a need for deeper understanding and qualitative reasoning in addressing this critical problem. A call to arms is made for better engagement and solutions.
