Classroom Rules • Arrive on time, prepared to work. • Follow all instructions immediately. • Listen to the person who is supposed to be talking. • Keep hands, feet and unkind comments to yourself. • Treat all equipment and your surroundings with respect. • No mobile phones / chewing gum.
Arrive on time prepared to work • Line up quietly outside classroom. • Remove jackets and bags when you enter and leave to one side. • Remember to bring the correct materials to class with you.
Follow all instructions immediately • When the teacher counts 5,4,3,2,1, Freeze you should stop what you are doing and listen for the next instruction.
Listen to the person who is supposed to be talking • This may be the teacher or it maybe another student. • Put your hand up if you wish to answer a question or contribute to a discussion. • Never interrupt or talk while someone else is.
Keep hands, feet and unkind comments to yourself • Violent behaviour is not acceptable in a classroom. • Play fighting is not allowed. • Unkind or cruel comments will not be tolerated. No one should feel intimidated by another pupil in the drama classroom
Treat all equipment and your surroundings with respect • Do not graffiti jotters, folders or worksheets. • Homework should be returned in good condition. • Do not use props without asking the teachers permission. • Take care of the equipment in the classrooms, and again ask permission to before you use anything.
No mobile phones / chewing gum • School rules! • There is no need for a pupil to use a mobile phone during a lesson. • The lessons are often practical and chewing gum is a hazzard.
