Difference in largest Lyapunov exponent (LyE) value at prosthetic ankle from preferred prosthesis to nonpreferred prosthesis was significantly correlated with preference between prostheses (difference in LyE calculated as LyE value for walking with nonpreferred prosthesis minus LyE value for walking with preferred prosthesis). This was noted to be strong relationship. This was also true for one participant who ultimately had stronger preference for alternate prosthesis (participant denoted by ▲).
