STRATEGIES FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Explore effective strategies for combating rural poverty in Peru, particularly among alpaca farmers in the Southern Sierra. With 87% of the world's alpaca population, Peru is the largest producer of alpaca wool, supporting 170,000 families. However, increasing international demand is met with declining animal productivity due to eroded pastures. This pilot project spans 6 communities, focusing on fertilizing pastures, building water reservoirs, and improving wool quality. Join us in funding this initiative to uplift 450 families by raising $47,000.
