  2. Who is the player?  • Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro. • Ronaldo was born February 5th 1985. • Ronaldo is from Portugal. • Ronaldo is the captain of the Portuguese national team.

  3. What club does he/she play in?  • Ronaldo started playing in Manchester United, and the he moved to Real Madrid in a transfer deal worth £80 million (€94m, US$132m).

  4. What is the players background, how long has he/she been playing, what positions does he/she play? • At the age of eight, Ronaldo played for amateur team Andorinha. He was the only player to play under 16-17-18. in 2003-2006 Ronaldo was the first Portuguese player, he got the number “28” which he didn’t want, he rather chose “7” because it was worn by other famous players. • On the 26th of June 2009 Ronaldo was confirmed that he is a player in Real Madrid, and he would join on the 1st of July 2009. In 2010 Ronaldo got his number “7” jersey for Real Madrid. • Ronaldo is a striker.

  5. What does this player do on the field that makes them so good? (Use Football terminology if possible) eg: Can strike with both feet, puts other players into space etc. • Ronaldo is a very good striker, he can strike with both his feet. He can organize his team very well.

  6. Why do you enjoy watching this particular player more than others? Give specific examples of great passages of play they have been involved in. (you can use photos or video to help your explanation) • I enjoy watching Ronaldo play because I learn from him how to strike well. I also enjoy watching his team playing because they are my favorite and because they look really well on the field.

What are 3 questions you would ask the player if you had a chance to interview them for TV and why? • 1: Why did you choose football as your favorite sport but not any others? • 2:Would you like to be a goal keeper for your team? • 3:Do you enjoy playing football against other teams? • I chose to ask these questions because I’m curios to know why he chose something but not the other.
