16F Committee Update

The 16F Committee has formed subcommittees that are actively engaged in rewriting the 16F documentation. Each subcommittee has met 3 to 5 times, focusing on revising most sections to improve clarity and effectiveness. A scheduled competition is anticipated in approximately one year. Major concerns being addressed include the removal of the spider and gimbal from 8C, defining drift requirements, eliminating hydraulic lines and hoses from 16C, and addressing strain gauge testing. Additionally, the need to clarify COC requirements for 16F is under consideration.
