  2. Setting • Setting-They live in a suburban neighborhood with lots of trees. Vlads house is a two-story Victorian house with wood floors that creek! • Theme- a library with walls of books. • Time period-modern day

  3. Characters • Vlad is a 13 year old vampire, he is skinny and lanky with pale skin, everyone thinks he's Goth. • Henry is Vlads best friend , he is always in a good mood and has a big smile. • Nelly who we call aunt Nelly she was Vlads moms best friend & when his parents died se took him in to take care of him.Shes a nurse at the local hospital & she sneaks blood for Vlad.

  4. Plot: Conflict • Problem-Tom & Billy would bully Vlad,also a strange man who is also a vampire is asking around town about Vlad.Vlad is hiding that he is a vampire & its had & getting harder.

  5. Plot: Resolution • He read toms mind & found out that he takes ballet classes so when they picked on him he would say something. So for Vlads secret and Henry would never revile it & his Uncle Otis would always be close to protect him, Nell loved him like a mother and would protect him to. The strange man D’ABLO Vlad killed him so he will not have to worry about others because they know that he has the Lucias witch his father put a spell on.

  6. Your Opinion • I thought that the book was good it makes you picture the house, and the town in the story. It was boring because it didn’t give a lot of details till the end.

  7. About the Author • She likes vampires • She wears happy funk bunny pj’s when she writes. • She wore black when she was a teen and danced under a full moon. • She doesn’t believe in happy endings unless blood is in evolved. • She still dances under a full moon even though she's an adult.

  9. Summary • The story is about a boy that is half vampire and half human. Only his best friend and his guardian knew his secret. Then bad vampires starter to come to town to find him(D’ABLO). But his substitute teacher Mr. Otis was his uncle was trying to protect him but did not know, so Vlad now is trying to find out about his history and that he is really not the last one.
