  4. NJATCNational Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee NUITF National Utility Industry Training Fund

  5. NJATC • NJATC formed                                   1941 • Approximately 33000 apprentices today • Number prior to 2008  40,000 to 45,000 • Current # of Outside Line Students just over 4200 • Partnership between NECA and the IBEW

  6. NUITF • Formed in 2008 • 4 Utility partners: DTE Alabama Power Tucson KCP&L

  7. NUITF & NJATC NUITF now has an exclusive contract to provide the NJATC training program to the utility industry both Sub-Sta. and outside lines. This is a nationally recognized and DOE approved apprenticeship program with credentials from the IBEW.

  8. Blended Learning • Text book and online learning coupled with classroom training. • We will also have access to the train the trainer courses at NTI, National Training Institute at University of Michigan Campus, Ann Arbor, Michigan

  9. Instructor Home Page Instructors see where students are struggling and which students are struggling
