  17. COMMUNICATION DURING TRANSITION The key to a successful transition is to communicate with family, friends, coworkers, and mentors and allow others to contribute to your transition process.

  18. VALUE OF MENTORS A mentor is a trusted counselor, teacher, or an influential senior sponsor. When choosing a mentor, it is recommended you choose someone you view as a role model.
