  2. Ink absorber is the important part of a Canon printer. It is a self-cleaning tool that brushes off all the dust particles on the printer head and absorbs all the leftover ink that most often wastes away. But with repeated work, it gets clogged and this causes the component to be fully useless. If you want it back in good working condition, then you have to rinse this absorber. Before starting the procedure, you will need some basic things: • A wet paper towel • A bowl full of Warm Water Now just go through the below process to accomplish your task. • First of all, you will see the plastic lid located in the middle of the machine, lift it upwards and once you do that, the ink cartridge will slide in the position, then get to the internal compartment of the printing machine.

  4. After getting inside it, you will see a rubber frame at the right of the printer. This square frame entails the ink absorber. Now gently sliding it upwards to detach it from the device. After removing the absorber, turn off the machine and unplug the power cable. • Now you will have two foam based ink absorbers. Take it out of the rubber frames and put them in a bowl filled with warm water and gently scrub them using a soft soap. • Then take them out and dry it off using a paper towel and wait for the drying up to be completed. Once it completely dried, place them back into the frames.

  5. And place the frames back on the right side of the printer and press it gently until it sets in with a lock. Then close the lid. • Next, reset the code of the ink absorber by plugging the chords and hold down the power button, then release it after waiting for 5 seconds and press it again. The absorber has been cleaned and reset now.
