  2. Overview SutronWIN is a web service for hydro-meteorological data collection that retrieves data from many different types of interfaces & delivers it via the internet in a ready-to-use format. We collect data via Satellite: GOES DCS, DOMSAT, NOAAPORT, Iridium®, METEOSAT Modem: Station is contacted on schedule or station calls the Control Center IP-Accessible Stations: Contact static IP on schedule, or station connects to us via dynamic IP Cellular: GPRS/GSM Radio: Line-of-Sight, Repeaters Serial: Direct Connection, Multiplexer, Terminal Server, Etc.

Teledrift, Texas Teledrift is in the business of leasing survey & measurement drilling tools Using Iridium communications & SutronWIN, we have provided them with the unique capability to monitor drilling operations in any part of the world. Teledrifttools are equipped with Iridium modems to transmit header, data, emergency and text packets. Packets are received by SutronWIN & displayed on their custom website. Each Teledrift Regional Manager has a unique log-in in order to check on the "jobs" in his region. Currently, there are about 100 regional log-ins. Each Teledrift Regional Manager assigns "jobs" to users such as Exxon, for example, who can create user logins , send messages to units, generate tabular, polar plots , download PDF reports, generate waveforms.   34. SutronWIN - Reliability SutronWIN has been moved to new powerful servers. Servers act as "hot backup" for each other. Monitoring scripts and tools are installed to monitor all processes on these servers. In case of outage, tool sends an email alert to Administrators. Plans are to move to server farms in future in Colorado and Texas facility along with Sutron'sMeteoStar servers. An email group has been made for SutronWin clients to immediately inform Administrators about any outage proactively.
  35. SutronWIN - Future Plans Station Transmission This screen will display current transmissions from the station and the user will be drill down to raw and decoded data . Something similar to GOES DCP monitor. Corrections GUI very similar to DCS Toolkit where users can interpolate or correct the data values. Screen to send messages to unit via iridium or TCP/IP.
