  3. No, not originally from a carton. • But from a cow on a farm!

  4. As you grew up you learned this! • Likewise many Christians have become so used to having Bibles that they have bought at a book store that they have almost no knowledge of where the present English translations of the Bible came from.

  5. This is the true story of how the Bible ended up looking like it does now, as a book. • Trace the next 6 slides…

  7. 2 – God chose Moses to begin writing down His Word

  8. 3 – Moses wrote on scrolls

  9. 4 – God chose other men to record His words – some on stone

  10. 5 – Scribes copied books by hand

  11. 6 – Printing press allowed many copies of Bible to be made
