Application Integration Remedy - Action Request System • Owner: Corporate Information Technology Department • Technology: Software package from Remedy Corporation using C with an Oracle Database. • Purpose: To manage problem call, service request tracking, change management and IT Billing both Company wide and locally . • Projects: Change Management fixes and standardization. Problem Management fixes and standardization

Application Integration TAMS - Telecommunications Admin Mgmt System • Owner: Corporate Information Technology Department • Technology: Software package from Telus Corporation using MS Access front end with an Oracle Database. • Purpose: Tracks all telecommunications usage (phone, fax, cell) at Oil Sands/Sherwood Park. • Projects: Interface with Telus Interface with Employee Directory Interface with Action Request System

Application Integration Information Technology Co-op Program • Purpose: “Cooperative Education" is a program that combines a student's classroom studies with paid work experience related to their major field of study. Most universities and colleges offer cooperative education degrees where a student is given the opportunity to apply their learned skills in the workforce. Term lengths vary from 8 months to 16 months. • Projects: Projects which students are currently involved in here at IT include new World Wide Web Technologies, NovaManage, Interplant, Oracle Financials, Maximo and various other exciting projects.

Application Integration AirTas - Accident Incident Report Trend Analysis • Owner: Health, Safety and Environment • Technology: Developed for Suncor with an Oracle Database using Visual Basic, Java, DHTML, HTML, HSP, DCOM with a presentation through IE.4. • Purpose: Plantwide application for recording, reporting and analysis of ALL incidents and accidents. This includes things like unexpected power outages to the main computer room. • Projects: On going report development. Upgrading of Interfaces to Medgate and jeTECH.

Application Integration Medgate - Occupational Health Centre Treatment • Owner: Health, Safety and Environment • Technology: Software package from MEDGATE using MS- Access on an Oracle Database. • Purpose: Records all on-site medical information for employees and contractors. • Projects: Replacement of current system

Application Integration Traqs - Training Requirements & Qualifications • Owner: HRS&CA • Technology: Software Package from ATR using an Oracle Database. • Purpose: Maintains and updates training records of employees and contractors on-site. Assigns training to employees and some contractors, provides access to online training that has been assigned. • Projects: Upgrade to new version to overcome current data volume issues. Interface with jeTECH for employee information

Application Integration Employee Directory • Owner: Human Resources Department • Technology: Internally development with MS-access and ASP for Web inquires using and an Oracle Database. • Purpose: Provides contact information on all Suncor Energy employees and Oil Sands contractors. • Projects: Company wide employee access with an Interface with Cyborg and jeTECH.

Application Integration MSDS - Materials Safety Data Sheets • Owner: Health, Safety and Environment Department • Technology: Software packaged from WERCS using MS Access on an Oracle Database with web ASP pages. • Purpose: Provides material safety data sheet information in a web format • Projects:

Application Integration Quikworks - Security DataCard System • Owner: HRS&CA • Technology: Software package from DataCard Canada Inc. using an Oracle Database. • Purpose: Provides identification cards to all employees and contractors at Oil Sands. • Projects: Upgrade from Oracle 16-bit application to 32- bit application.

  16. Application Integration Omnirim - Records Management System • Owner: Support Services • Technology: Software package from Omnirim Systems Auditing Corporation using an Oracle Database • Purpose: Tracks archived files that are stored in an off- site vault • Projects:

  17. Application Integration Interplant - Process History Database (PHD) • Owner: Suncor Energy Marketing Inc. (SEMI) • Technology: Software package from Honeywell • Purpose: Plant-wide customized off-the-shelf program that collects, monitors, manages, and delivers information and reports based on lab, process and manually entered data. • Projects: Upgrade from version 1.30 to 1.50. Upgrade operating system from OpenVMS to Windows NT

(SEMI) • Technology: In-house developed with an MS Access Database creating ASP web pages for OSSUNNET • Purpose: Provides shift end, daily and monthly area shift reporting information. • Projects:

Information is using to determine quality of products, air, on-site water, etc.. • Projects: Upgrade to newer release Upgrade from OpenVMS to Windows NT

Application Integration SpRS - Suncor Performance Reporting System • Owner: Mining / Extraction • Technology: Internally Development using Oracle Database • Purpose: Provides a dynamic and soft-configurable reporting tool that can access any Suncor Oracle Database. The ‘reports’ can be created in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint format • Projects: Update project to re-design user interface for more intuitive navigation, ability to generate PowerPoint Presentations and upgrades to the KPI repository.

Currently using a Btrieve database. • Purpose: Project Management software to manage resources, tasks and priorities. Features Project modeling, scheduling, resource and cost management, reports and graphics. • Projects: Upgrade to P3E (P3 Enterprise) with an Oracle Data Base.
