  5. Traditions…

  6. I Cor 11:2 2 Now I praise you because you have remembered everything I told you and observe the traditions just the way I passed them on to you.

  7. II Thes 2 15 Therefore, brothers, stand firm; and hold to the traditions you were taught by us, whether we spoke them or wrote them in a letter.

  8. II Thes 3 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

  9. We’d like to welcome any visitors. • We have visitor cards that you can fill out then drop into the Tzedika (offering) box when we pass it around.

  10. Hebrew class today after the service

  11. HaYasode Classes on Tuesdays • Tim Hegg this week, don’t miss it. • Rosh Chodesh is on the 28th of Oct.

  12. Abdiminajab of Iran called the next Republican Nominee for the US Presidency and said, “Ya know, I had a wonderful dream last night. I could see America, the whole country, and on each house I saw a banner."  "What did it say on the banners?" the nominee asked.

  13. Abdiminajab replied, "LONG LIVE Abdiminajab." The Nominee responded, "You know, Abdiminajab, I am really happy you called. Last night I had a similar dream. I could see all of Iran, and it was more beautiful than ever. It had been rebuilt completely, and on each house flew an enormous banner." "What did the banners say?" Abdiminajab asked.

  14. "I don't know," replied the Nominee , "I can't read Hebrew."

  15. “On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and there was the sounding of a very loud SHOFAR blast. Everyone in the camp trembled.”

  16. Please stand for the Shema and face east towards Jerusalem.

  17. Shema Israel Adoni Elohaynu Adoni Echad. Barukh shem k'vod malkhuto l'olam va'ed. (Remain standing for Hatikva)

  18. Hear oh Israel the L-rd our G-d is one L-rd. Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever.

  19. Because Messiah said it is the greatest Commandment! Mark 12:28-29 28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the greatest commandment of all?” 29 And Yeshua answered him, “The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is One Lord:”

  20. We’ll now sing HaTikva (The Hope)

  21. Kol ‘od balleivav penimah Nefesh yehudi homiyah Ul(e)fa’atei mizrach kadimah, ‘Ayin letziyon tzofiyah; ‘Od lo avdah tikvateinu, Hatikvah bat shnot alpayim, Lihyot‘am chofshi be’artzeinu, Eretz-tziyon (v)'Y(e)rushalayim.

  23. May He who makes peace in His heights make peace upon us and upon all Israel…Amen."

  24. He-nay maw tove oo-maw nye-eem shevet aw-heem gum yaw hawd. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell in unity

  25. YoduchaAmim Elohim

  26. Going Up To The Mountain

  27. Days Of Elijah

  28. Meet new people! Let them see that Messianics truly understand community and brotherly/sisterly love.Say hello to old friends… show that you care!

  29. We say the L-rd’s Prayer (Our Prayer) because Yeshua told us this is how we should pray. We pray so G-d will hear our petitions and grant whichever prayers are in accord with His will. We also pray In order to bless Him.

  30. There’s some differences in Our Prayer that I want to point out. What we see Yeshua teaching us is very Jewish and it is still done like this in Synagogues to this day.

  31. "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,

  32. and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

  33. Notice it’s not “Me”, “Mine” or “I” it is a communal thing. Just like our other prayers in Hebrew… Blessed art thou oh L-rd OUR G-d… Or… Who has allowed US to kindle the Sabbath candles

  34. Or… who has given US the fruit of the vine. My dad reminded me of when I was a kid and there were some preachers who would say… “Now personalize it!”. You’re NOT supposed to personalize it,
