The Attic Youth Center: 255 S. 16th St • Youth center for kids ages 14-21 • Youth programming • Life Skills Center • Mental Health Counseling • Supportive Services • Community engagement • The Bryson Institute • LGBTQ sensitivity training for all professions that interact with queer youth • Attic Graffix • Youth design & create their own t-shirts, pillows, posters, etc.

LGBTQA Student Center: Creese Student Center – 48C • Opening: October 22nd, 5-7 pm • Mission: “to provide resources and support the development, growth, and education of Drexel students, faculty and professional staff, with the intent to serve as a safe and inclusive location for the LGBTQIA community and their allies on campus” • Centralizes LGBTQA-related resources • Staffed by graduate students and, supported by Student Center for Inclusion and Culture • FUSE e-board members have office hours • FUSE advocacy spearheaded its creation • Help us to make it grow!

Philadelphia Trans* Health Conference • Runs for three days in June • Hundreds of workshops and activities • Health, safety, wellness, housing, employment, social service, mental health, medical care • Focused on health, safety, overall wellness of the trans* community • Thousands of people from all across the country • Founded in 2002 • Run by Mazzoni Center

  23. QFest: July • Film festival featuring LGBTQIA-related short films, feature films, & documentaries • Runs for two weeks in mid-late July

Philly Trans* March: October • Annual rally and demonstration for the rights of trans, genderqueer, gender-variant, and gender non-conforming individuals • Takes place on the Saturday before Outfest • Features performances by local trans* artists • March starts at LOVE Park, works its way up & down Broad and through the Gayborhood

  25. Outfest: October • Huge block party in the Gayborhood • Takes place the Sunday closest to National Coming Out Day, as part of National Coming Out Week • Food, drinks, dancing
