Setting They live in Copenhagen,Denmark in 1943.
Main characters Annemarie-she is very brave.She knew that there was no great aunt birte.She took the packet to uncle Henrick. Ellen-she is a jew.On their new year she stayed the night with Annemarie.Her mom and dad went on a boat.Somewhere where it would be safer.
Minor characters mom-on the way back she broke her ancle Uncle Henrick-was a fisherman.He took the Rosens and other people to Sweeden Peter-he was like Annemarie and Kirsti brother.
Plot They live in Copenhagen , Denmark. Their Uncle Henrick want them to come down to where their mom lived. Great-aunt-birte had just died.
Climax Great-aunt-birte had died. Everybody gathered for her funeral. Mama took the Rosens and some other people to Uncle Henricks . Mr. Rosen had dropped the packet that was so important.Mama broke her ancle. Annemarie found the packet and took it to Uncle Henrick.
Resolution It all worked out fine. They got there safely. They got there without getting cought, They were more safe in the new place. Someday they will come back.
Theme The theme is bravery. Annemarie is very brave. She stood up to the soldiers. She was in a very dangerious position.
