Zainul’s Education • After completing high school got admission to the government school of Art, Calcutta (now kolkata). • Graduted : 1938 with first class first. Teacher and Student At the same time the government school of Art, Calcutta
Received the governor’s Gold Medal in all India Exhibition in 1938 for a series of water color sketches which were painted for showing the river Brahmaputra.
Services • Joined as a teacher of art at the government school of Art, While he was a student of that school. • Joined the Slade School of Arts in London in 1951-52. • The first Principal of the first Art School in Dhaka in East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh).
