Along with pictures of the parts, other basic information is included: Part Name, Part Number, Product Line, and Part Description. At bottom of the page there is an option to return to the homepage to view more parts. This gives the visiting companies a chance to search through all of the parts in the system to determine if your company manufactures similar products. At the bottom of this part information page there is a link: “My company manufactures equivalent or similar parts to the ones listed on this page and would like to submit a Supplier Profile for GEA’s review.” This link allows you to indicate that your company manufactures similar parts to those displayed. This information will be captured on the Supplier Profile you will be required to complete. For example, if your company clicked the link on the bottom of the “Thermostats” page, “Thermostats” will automatically be inputted into the “Major Products” field on the Supplier Profile. Click this link Page 3

  4. If your company produces a product listed under the product classification, category and description: Select “Metals” Select “Raw-Steel” Select “Galfan” Click the “View Parts” BUT, If there is no picture available, and you manufacture a similar or equivalent product to the part name, please click on the following link to proceed with the Supplier Profile Page 4

Scroll through the Supplier Profile to view all of the questions on the form. The “Major Products” field is automatically populated base on the category you selected in a previous screen (Refer to page 2) Page 5

  6. If your company passes our basic requirements, you will be taken to a page which informs you that you passed. You will be asked to complete and submit Pre-screen(s) for each of your manufacturing locations. You can fill out the Pre-screen(s) once you receive a User ID and Password via the e-mail address you provided on the Supplier Profile. You will receive this e-mail in approximately two weeks. This e-mail will have information that will guide you through the log in process. If your company fails to meet the basic requirements, a message indicating you did not meet the requirements will appear. Please keep in mind you are welcome to submit another Supplier Profile at any time. A text file report containing information on your company will be sent to GEA and saved in a database for future reference. Page 6
