  10. Social Structure…

  11. Each and every culture has a way of presenting oneself. Some ways are through language, others are through voice, but in other cases it is art. Art is a gorgeous and astonishing way to express one’s culture. And each culture has their own idea of what art meant. Just as the Japanese culture did. In the Japanese past art, there was astonishing and wonderful masterpieces that, even today, still are noticed. But in modern days, every culture is introduced to modernization or the Western culture. Many are impacted in one’s culture by modernization. • The Western’s method and ways to express themselves in painting, carving and all different expressions of art did indeed take a major impact to the Japanese culture. New art schools were founded and art mentors from countries such as Italy were welcomed into the country. But it was much more than just an adoption of Western art. New art movements created a unique form of its own clashing together old tradition skills with modern styles. So, in conclusion the Westerners majorly impacted the Japanese culture in positive and negative aspects.

  12. Conclusion…

  13. In conclusion, the Japanese culture indeed did get impacted by the Westerners. They adopted more than just artwork. They adopted new ideas, and created unique ideas of their own. Also art is a major tool for most cultures such as the Japanese. It wasn’t just an artwork; art is a way of expressing one’s culture to other’s with plenty or no knowledge about this culture. • And also that a culture’s art rarely ever stays as the old tradition because a culture is influenced by other’s around them (especially the westerners). And it is not just the art they are influenced by it is also a different style or motive of life, different ideas, different thoughts, and different people.
