  1. 1962.- Se construye el Teatro de Verano Funciona de diciembre a marzo Es un semicírculo superficial entre escenario y localidades con un foso que se llena de agua. Aquí murió el barítono Víctor Damián (1892-1962) Un festival benéfico lo había llevado a colaborar con la población de Cerro Colorado. Cesó su ritmo cardíaco en plena actuación y cayó muerto mientras el aplauso del pueblo y la gente de otros lugares premiaban su hermosa actuación
