UV Testing of HI-MACS® Patterns for Color Change and Weatherability in Exterior Applications

This report outlines the results of UV testing conducted on selected HI-MACS® patterns to evaluate color change and weatherability according to ASTM standards. The UVA and UVB effects on color change were simulated using Xenon arc and long wavelength UV light. Test results showed that the selected HI-MACS® patterns exhibit weatherability comparable to competitors like QUV. As a result, these patterns are suitable for exterior applications with a limited warranty, demonstrating similar quality under environmental exposure.

Exterior Application According to the test results, selected HI-MACS® patterns can be used outside with limited warranty • Test Result - Weatherability : Similar to Competitor- QUV : Similar to Competitor • Conclusion- Selected HI-MACS® patterns have similar quality to use outside compared to Competitor - HI-MACS® Exterior patterns have limited warranty condition
