  2. The effects of a hangover • Liver builds up fatty and lactic acids, impairing the body's ability to metabolize sugar. The resulting low blood sugar can cause weakness and mood disturbances. • Pituitary gland releases improper amounts of several hormones, disrupting the brain's circadian rhythm which makes sleep feel less restful and interfering with normal kidney function.

  3. Symptoms of a hangover • headache • irritability • nausea • fatigue • dehydration • body aches • vomiting • dizziness • loss of appetite • diarrhea

  4. Why do you get Hangovers when you drink • A hangover is nature's way of warning us we that we're harming our body. • Alcohol is actually a poison to your system and the hangover is the toxicity of the alcohol in your body. • So your body tries to flush out the poison any way it can.
