In the face of peer pressure, it's crucial to reflect on your commitment to Jesus. Exodus 23:2 warns against following the crowd, especially when that path leads to destruction. Consider what Christ endured for you—scourging, crucifixion, and abandonment—out of love. Are your friends guiding you spiritually or leading you astray? Rebellion, substance abuse, and immoral choices threaten your life and soul. Understand the negative nature of peer pressure; it aims to conform you to a lower standard. Choose wisely, for only Jesus offers true salvation.

SO WHAT? • What if it’s wrong? • What if it’s destructive? • What if it would cost you your life?
YOU HAVE A COMMITMENT TO JESUS. • What did He do for you? • In the Garden? • He was scourged. • He was crucified. • He was forsaken by God. • He endured humiliation. • You owe Him!
WHO GIVES YOU SALVATION? • Most talk about peer pressure is negative. • Proverbs 1:20-19 • Are they trying to help you spiritually? • Are they trying to get you to heaven? • Rebellion • Drinking • Drugs • Sex? • Only One can give you salvation.
THEY WANT TO DESTROY YOU. • Is that too harsh? • Just suppose: • They entice you to do drugs • What if you get hooked. • Does that destroy or improve your life? • What is the end result of sin?
THE NEGATIVE NATURE OF PEER PRESSURE • Negative peer pressure is an attempt to get you to conform. • It is always conformation to a lower standard. • If that is not an attempt to destroy you, what is it?
