  1. Flat Stanley Adventures in Arizona, USA

  2. Stanley and the cactus flowers… • In the state of Arizona, there are many different types of cacti. Because there was an unusual amount of rain this winter, the desert plants are in bloom. Check out the flowers on this cactus!

  3. Prickly Pear Cactus • This cactus is named, Prickly Pear. It has weird but beautiful flowers and the cactus itself is used to make jelly. I hope they take the prickles off first!

  4. Spring time in Arizona • I went to Tucson. The second largest city in Arizona. We stayed at a fabulous resort called the, El Conquistador. Arizona used to belong to Mexico so there are many people who speak Spanish here. Vamanos!

  5. Fine Dining !! • I went to this really fancy restaurant where they serve French food. They don’t give you very much to eat but it sure was delicious!!

  6. What a door!! • This is the door at the fancy restaurant. I’m not always that excited about doors but this one was pretty cool. It’s over 100 years old and was made by Mexican people. The girl was pretty cute too!!

  7. Ranger Rick… • This is Rick…he is one of the park rangers at the Kartchner Caverns State Park near Tucson. He was our guide when we toured the caves. Wow, these caves are some of the coolest ones in the world. Mother Nature is a very good decorator!

  8. Katchner Caverns…living wet caves! • Check this out…I am an unusual cave visitor! Y’all should go and see these caves if you have the chance. They were spectacular ! You can’t touch anything inside the caves so I was on my best behaviour.

  9. Kubla Khan • This is a giant replica of the cave formation that is known as, Kubla Khan. The actual formation is over 58 feet tall. I was blown away by how magnificent these caves were!

  10. Golden Labrador Puppy • After all that “macho” cave stuff, I went back to Phoenix where I met these two girls who were playing with their new puppy. The puppy’s name is, Vanilla, and he licked me like I was some sort of ice creamcone!!

  11. Giant Saguaro Cactus • This thing was huge!! The little holes that you see in the cactus were made by birds. They peck a hole in the cactus to find moisture and sometimes, they just move right in and live inside the holes!!!

  12. Palm trees and a Pool… • This is the back yard at the house where I am staying. Palm trees and a swimming pool…I may never come home! It gets VERY HOT here in the summer time. Over 45 degrees Celsius!!

  13. Australian Cattle Dogs • These are the two dogs that I hang out with at home. Shorty and Liam. They are very smart dogs and they swim in the pool with me. Shorty is a good boy but Liam is pretty naughty most of the time!
