Scientific Data System ULR : http://data.iap.ac.cn • Duties: • to assemble, Manage and Maintain Atmospheric and related sciences data • to develop an IT based virtual environment of atmospheric and environmental sciences. • Two main functions: • to offer numerical and pictorial data of weather, climate and environment for the researches in IAP and others; • to help common users to know the present situation and future tendency of weather and climate, and therefore extends meteorological knowledge to the public.
