Technology is a valuable tool • After setting up computers, open a new Word document. • Enter each word from your “Story Notes” on your word document. (Pay no attention to punctuation or spacing. Capitalize titles only.) • Open Wordle.com • Create a Wordlebypasting your word document into a new Wordle
October 19, 2011 Our Agenda : The “What” Our Goals: The “Why” Foreshadowing, predictions, and suspense work together to keep readers motivated and reading. Different kinds of text are organized in different kinds of ways. Good writing is correct so that it can be understood. • Edmodo: Review Assignments for unit • Begin Quotation marks and Dialogue • Select first story with 4:00 partner
November 15: Get it done! Our Agenda : The “What” Our Goals: The “Why” Good writers use the steps of the writing process to develop text that is meaningful and clear. Good writers use a variety or tools and methods to correct their text. Organizing tasks keeps workers on focus. • Find your computer, cord, etc. and log in at Edmodo. • Review today’s post and follow instructions at the top of the to-do list attachment. • Begin completing tasks. NOTE: Dialogue activities and E-Writing will be posted tomorrow. Find something else on the list to complete. Drafts need to be done by Thursday.
