Novel Insights into BSMV and HvCEBiP Interactions in Virus Resistance Mechanisms

This research explores the biochemical interactions between Barley stripe mosaic virus (BSMV) and the barley gene HvCEBiP, focusing on how these components contribute to plant resistance mechanisms. We provide a detailed analysis of BSMV’s genomic structure alongside the functions of key proteins, particularly HvEF1α, within the context of viral replication and plant defense responses. Our findings may lead to enhanced understanding of viral resistance in crops and offer new avenues for improving plant resilience against pathogens.
