Advancements in UAS Activities: Focus on Small UAVs and Innovative Imaging Technologies

Since 2012, our aerospace engineering research has focused on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), particularly small UAVs equipped with cutting-edge camera technologies, including thermal and multispectral imaging. Our main applications cover precision agriculture and environmental monitoring. We engage in flight formation techniques, remote sensing with microwave instruments, and bistatic radar capabilities. Collaborating with prestigious institutions like USP in Brazil, Purdue in the USA, and Surrey in the UK, alongside MIT, we are advancing system engineering, high-speed communications, and signal processing.
