    3. 3 LINEAMIENTO DE POLTICA DEL SEGURO GENERAL DE RIESGOS DEL TRABAJO El Seguro General de Riesgos del Trabajo protege al afiliado y al empleador mediante programas de prevencin de los riesgos derivados del trabajo, y acciones de reparacin de las afectaciones por accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades profesionales, incluida la rehabilitacin fsica y mental as como la reinsercin laboral.

    5. FINANCIAMIENTO DEL SGRT El 0,55% sobre sueldos y salarios imponibles de aportacin: Subsidios, indemnizaciones, 12 pensiones mensuales, decimotercera, decimocuarta, promocin y prevencin. El 1,0% sobre sueldos y salarios imponibles de aportacin: para atenciones de salud por accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades profesionales, rtesis y prtesis. Art. 159 de la ley de Seguridad Social Resolucin C.D. 261 del 26 de mayo 2009 5

CONTINGENCIAS CUBIERTAS ACCIDENTE DE TRABAJO: Todo suceso imprevisto y repentino que produzca una lesin corporal, perturbacin funcional, muerte inmediata o posterior por consecuencia del trabajo que ejecuta. Tambin se cubre el accidente en trayecto o in itinere. ENFERMEDAD PROFESIONAL U OCUPACIONAL: Afeccin aguda o crnica causadas de una manera directa por el ejercicio de la profesin o labor que realiza el asegurado y que producen incapacidad. 6

    11. GESTIN DE LA PREVENCIN DE RIESGOS LABORALES En todo lugar de trabajo se debern tomar medidas tendientes a disminuir los riesgos laborales. Estas medidas debern basarse, para el logro de este objetivo, en directrices sobre sistemas de gestin de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo y su entorno como responsabilidad social y empresarial. 11
