This study examines the survival rates in wild-type (WT) and ST1 knockout (ST1KO) mice infected with EMCV at varying dilutions of IFNα. Mice received a 2-fold dilution of IFNα (100 to 0.2 pfu/mouse) and were observed for survival rates over several days post-infection. Results indicate WT mice show significant survival (80% at full dilution) compared to ST1KO mice, which displayed no survival (0/3) at lower dilutions. This research provides insights into the efficacy of IFNα in viral infections.
