This week, we will begin reading the novel "Dear Mr. Henshaw," focusing on key skills such as author’s purpose, point of view, summarization, and context clues in reading. In math, we'll review measurement concepts. Language Arts will feature figurative language, while science will explore learned behaviors and inherited traits. In social studies, we’ll wrap up our unit on the Texas Cattle Kingdom and the railroad. Please send in tissues if you can, as we are running low. Don’t forget about the Early Out on February 8 and Hoops for Heart money due by February 10.
