1. 2010 BURSARIES AVAILABLE !!!!NRF/DoL Scarce Skills Scholarships for BTech/Honours • Attention: B-Tech Students • You are hereby invited to apply for the 2010 B-Tech • Bursary programme, to the value ofR30 000. • REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGILBLE FOR A BURSARY: • Students who are pursuing studies in the following Fields my apply: • ACCOUNTING, ACTURIAL SCIENCES, AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, AUDITING, BIOTECHNOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, COMPUTER SCIENCE, DEMOGRAPHY, ENGINEERING, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, GEOLOGY, INFORMATION SYSTEMS, MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, PHYSICS, TOURISM AND TRANSPORTATION STUDIES • Must be a South African Citizen and registered full-time for final year B-Tech Degree. • Obtain at least 60% in the main subjects at National Diploma level. • Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged students. • Not failed any major subjects taken during the final year of National Diploma. • The National Diploma must have been completed in the minimum period. • CLOSING DATE: 19 MARCH 2010 • “NB: No late and incomplete applications will be considered” • APPLICATION PROCESS • Application Forms can be obtained by your Head of Department. • All completed application forms (with relevant attachments) must be submitted to your Head of Department for evaluation and approval. • For more information please contact Khopotso Matsoso at (012) 382 4468 Directorate of Research & Innovation
