Modified USSF Physical Testing Procedures for Missouri Referees

  1. Mo - USSF Physical Testing The following 3 slides outline the modified USSF interval testing procedures to be used within Missouri for meeting grade 7, 6 and 5 annual re-registration requirements, as well as for all upgrades to 7, 6 and 5. This test must be administered by DRA assigned and approved USSF lead instructor and should be posted on the Mo Clinic registration site in advance so that all Missouri USSF referees may attend if they desire to do so.

  2. Mo Sprints – 1st Sprints will be run before Interval in Missouri. May run 6 times maximum 40 meters in 10.0 sec Grade 7 Pass 4 times, using up to 6 attempts maximum Grade 6 Pass 5 times, using up to 6 attempts maximum Grade 5 Pass 5 times, using up to 6 attempts maximum May use 2.0 minutes maximum recovery time between sprints. 20 minutes recovery time between interval testing ending and sprints starting

  3. Mo Interval Testing – 2nd National Referees or National Candidates must also pass National criteria above the annual requirements for Missouri. Gate 2 Run in 45 sec. Walk in 45 sec. 150m 50m Gate 3 400 meter track Gate 1 50m 150m Walk in 45 sec. Run in 45 sec. Gate 4 Grade 7 Under 38 - 7.5 laps total 38-45 - 6.5 laps total Over 45 – 6.0 laps total May miss 1 gate and still pass Grade 6 & 5 Under 38 - 8.0 laps total 38-45 - 7.5 laps total Over 45 – 6.5 laps total May miss 1 gate and still pass Interval will be run after Sprints in Missouri.

Run in 35 sec. or less Gate 4 For comparison: This is the criteria for the USSF National Referees at the RTS. Missouri SRC adopted the prior pages for 2013-14 recertification. 6 times, may fail 1x 40 meters in 6.6 sec.
