  2. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT and MARKETING One of our aims is the development and proliferation of efficient, inexpensive, easy-to-maintain and environmentally friendly water treatment facilities. Our water treatment processes are affordable due to their compactness, functional simplicity and reliability. We endeavour to avoid and reduce the use of chemicals in water treatment to protect humans and the environment. We achieve this through innovative equipment in a combination of electrochemical, physical and biological processes. We also pay particular attention to energy saving. The designs utilize the gravity force effect and a multi-purpose use of the equipment. We introduce and market innovative environmental products and technologies. We establish business relationships with local companies and organizations that wish to benefit from our experiences on the world markets.

Such an hands-on experience provides the Customer with a good knowledge of the process and strong confidence in the facility operation and maintenance.

Advantages: • No chemical reagents are used in the process • Continuous removal of iron, dissolved gasses, suspended solids • The system does not require an operator • Very low failure factor due to absence of mechanical devices • Low maintenance • The system operation self-adapts to changing contaminant impact • Only small amounts of water is required for backwash • No electrical energy required in the process if the inflow is gravity driven • No shelter required. Useable in all weather conditions • No electronic devices are used in the process The "DEFERUM" is the most economical, effective and environment-friendly ground water treatment system on the market. It is currently produced under license in the USA, Australia, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Nederland, Australia, Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil, Nigeria. The "DEFERUM" system can be designed for flow rates ranging from 12 m3/day to any water volume required. The principle technological design is the same for all flow rate ranges. The "DEFERUM" system is comprised of an advanced AKV aerator, a hydro-automatic floating filter and a hydro-robot. The system configuration may slightly vary dependable upon the flow rate.

  5. «DEFERUM»is used for automatic periodic or continuous operation. It is cleaning ground-, river-, lake-, dam - and processed water, where there is a large concentration of iron, manganese, color, sediments, hydrogen sulfide, silicon, and others. • «DEFERUM» supplies potable water to cottages, schools, hospitals, farms, villages and towns. • The hydro-automatic system "DEFERUM" is designed for the non-reagent removal of high levels of dissolved iron (up to 75 mg/l), dissolved gases (hydrogen sulphide, carbon dioxide, methane, radon and odors), suspended and colloidal particles yielding high quality drinking water standards. The "DEFERUM" is equally suitable for the removal of very high, moderate and low concentrations of contaminants.
