Advantages • Based on knowledge and skill and not on seniority and # of degrees • Incentive opportunity for professional advancement • Brings more people to the teaching profession
Disadvantages • Erodes Teacher Morale • Creates A Competitive Environment Amongst Teachers • Class Rooms Are Too Dynamic To Evaluate Effectively • Money Should Be Used Differently
