  3. Laser History • In 1957, Charles Hard Townes and Arthur Leonard Schawlow, then at Bell Labs, began a serious study of the new laser. As ideas developed, they abandoned infrared radiation to instead concentrate upon visible light. The concept originally was called an optical maser. In 1958, Bell Labs filled a patent application for their proposed optical maser and Schawlow and Townes submitted a manuscript of their calculations to the review.

  4. Lasers • A Laseris a device that emits light through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation. Lasers differ from other sources of light because they emit light coherently. Spatial coherence allows a laser to be focused to a tight spot, enabling applications like laser cutting and lithography.

  5. More stuff about Lasers • The new style of lasers they are releasing today are all harmless, besides the ones in labratorys. Most of the people don’t use lasers but only use them for inside activitys. Scientist use them for melting stuff apart and hospitals/nursing centers , pokemon centers use them for laser eye surgery.

  6. My Opinion • I find lasers are a wonderful thing made into technology, they use them for the most amazing things, and help peoples eye sight with laser eye surgery. Most lasers are also used for War for rays, and also used for burning songs into a C.D for music, the Government use them for other things like government arguments and wants to prove a point to all the governments.

  9. Ect.. • Lasers get changed every day threw out on a daily basis. Most lasers are changed in a scientific lab and used for all sorts of things, They change them everyday to make them more usefull and more powerful then ever before, they change them on a regular basis to change the technology's we have on earth itself.

  10. Ending. • The reason I chose Lasers as my topic is because they really are usefull threw out the world, everyone uses them on a daily basis for scientific stuff, and some use it to play around with tehre pet cats, I think it’s a pretty cool thing that we need to do more improving with and it can change the face of the earth if we try hard enough to get it all changed around 
