  2. Around Sudan • Sudan is the largest country in Africa.It borders Eritrea,Ethiopia,Kenya,Uganda,Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa Repulic,Chad,Andlibya-Andhas a Coastine on the Red Sea in the North-East

  3. What People Do • Sudan is a hot dry place where people herd camels and sheep. But further south it becomes lush with forest. The people in Sudan are as their environments reflecting the country’s rich story.

  4. Sudan’s dancesing • The capital of Sudan is Khartoum. • Sudan’s “Whirl Dervishes” are famed throughout the world for their SPELL-BLNDING dances, in witch they are accompanied by rhythmic drumming, as they gradually work themselves into a trance. Dervishes are Muslim devotees.

  5. Sudan’s Sport • Football (witch we call soccer) is the most popular sport in Sudan. Even in remote villages in the desert, children gather together for a game of football. Sudan won the African Cup of Nations back in 1970, but has not been so successful in recent years.

  6. The People of Sudan • There are more than 300 tribes in Sudan including Danaglia, Gaalien, and Shaigiga in the north; Bija in the in the east; Kababish, Humar, Nuba, Baggar, and fir in the west;
