This project aims to address the significant issue of food waste and hunger in Korean society. By focusing on the wasted left-over food from establishments like restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores, we aim to tackle the lack of food distribution systems, inefficiencies, and resources waste. With over 17,000 tons of food discarded daily in Korea and a high percentage of all food wasted, costing approximately 25 trillion won, urgent action is needed. In addition, there are approximately 13,262 homeless people nationwide, with 4,734 in Seoul alone, and 964 without a regular place to stay. This project aims to provide deeper insights into the problems and develop innovative solutions to create a more sustainable and equitable society.
