  2. CHECK YOUR CONNECTION Look at the lower-right corner of the Outlook window. If it says Disconnected, working Offline, or trying to attach, you are not connected to your email server. Click the Send/Receive tab on the ribbon. Click Work Offline in the Preferences group. You must currently see Connected to Server in the lower-right corner of the window. Click the Send/Receive All Folders button in the Send & Receive group. Check to see if the message is currently in the Sent folder or still in the outbox.

  3. CHECK DIFFERENT LOCATIONS FOR YOUR EMAIL MESSAGES • It is possible that emails are in your Junk folder. Additionally, you may have inadvertently downloaded them on another device, like your phone or your work computer.

  4. CREATE A NEW PROFILE • 1. Click File. • 2. Click Account Settings. • 3. Choose to Manage Profiles from the drop-down list. • 4. Click Show Profiles. • 5. Click Add. • 6. Type a name for the new profile in the Profile Name box and click OK. • 7. Follow the prompts to set up your email account in the new profile. • 8. Restart Outlook. • 9. Click File. • 10. Click Account Settings. • 11. Choose change Profile from the drop-down list. • 12. Click OK on the Outlook can close message. • 13. Restart Outlook. • 14. Choose the name of the new profile you created in the Profile Name list and click on OK.

  5. EMPTY YOUR INBOX • If your inbox is full, you may not be ready to send or receive any messages. • Delete any unwanted email messages from the inbox. • Right-click junk mail and click on Empty. CallPcExpert

  6. CHECK YOUR EMAIL RULES • To check email rules in new Outlook.com: • 1. Click the Settings button. • 2. Choose view Full Settings. • 3. Click Mail in the left pane. • 4. Choose Rules in the right pane. • 5. Find any rules that are preventing you from receiving or viewing emails. • 6. Choose a rule you want to change and click Edit. • 7. Change the actions of the rule and Click Save. • 8. Delete a rule by choosing the rule and clicking Delete.

  7. CHECK FORWARDING SETTINGS • Similarly, you may have set up email forwarding and forgotten or expected it to expire. You can check these settings and switch them off, if necessary. • To check forwarding settings in new Outlook.com: • 1. Click the Settings button. • 2. Choose read All Outlook Settings. • 3. Click Mail in the left pane. • 4. Choose Forwarding in the right pane. • 5. Choose Stop Forwarding and click Save.
